When you open the door, your friend jumps up with a fright. "It's you!" -(s)he whispers. "Help me get this out of the way". As you give him/her a hand you ask what is in the bags. (S)he says you shouldn't tell anyone so you promise not to.

Once you're on the deck (s)he tells you (s)he wanted his/her holidays to pay off and so the last time the yacht called at a port (s)he bought some baskets with oysters from the local fishermen for a low price. Then (s)he put the oysters in several buckets with sea water and hid them around the yacht. They were due in Xanadú two days later and (s)he would have sold the oysters there but they had a head wind and so the journey would take much longer. The shellfish had started to go bad and there was nothing they could do but throw it back into the sea.

You help him/her get rid of the bags and you think life's funny when, just the morning after, you hear Dimitris, the skipper, announcing you are already entering the little harbour of Xanadú.
