As a result of our research, we have realised that throughout this period churches and religious buildings dominated over civil constructions. On the contrary, sculptures and paintings are practically non-existent. We have encountered may difficulties with technical terms referring both to architectural elements and to building techniques. Nevertheless, we have tried to solve such problems by means of accurate descriptions.
