Teacher’s guide

Any WebQuest follows the same pattern: a title page, an introduction, a task, instructions, an evaluation, a conclusion, credits and finally this section, a teacher’s guide.

º Introduction: It’s in this section where questions, challenges and problems are formulated. Students are invited to do a research work which is next specified in the Task section.

º Task: Here, students are given instructions about what they are expected to do with the gathered information from the Internet, that is, what kind of work they will have to produce.

º Process: In this section, students are given the steps to follow to do the task. Some activities will have to be done in group and students will have to use different web pages. They will also be taught how to save the information, images and their work.

This section presents the resources, that is all the web pages links that are supposed to allow them to reach for the information and therefore meet their goals.

º Evaluation: From the very beginning, students will have to be aware of this section, asking them to read it thoroughly in order to know exactly how they are expected to work and how they will be finally evaluated.
