5. WRITING. You are going to invent a story inspired by the pictures below. Follow these tips:

Choose about 6 pictures.
Write ONE TOPIC SENTENCE for each picture.
ORDER the pictures/topic sentences .
Write a few details/ideas around each topic sentence.

Make at least 5 paragraphs.
Check your verbal tenses.
Include sequencing links such as

First/At first/Right from the start/At the beginning
Before long, Previously
After that, / Then, /Next
It was then that…
The next thing was that…
That was when…
Finally/ In the end/ Eventually

Include time-relation links next to the tenses for narration:

When/Once/ As soon as / Immediately
After / Before
While /As

Include time references:

One day / Once upon a time / On one occasion / Last week / Last night/year/month...
About/around (clock time)
On (+ a date)
In (+ a year/month…)

When you think your story is ready, hand it in for suggestions / correction.
