Dear Michael,
Great news from Córdoba where I'm spending
a short holiday. If I compare this place to my previous trip in
Heidelberg I can say that Córdoba is quieter (there are not
so many tourists!), food is cheaper and more Mediterranean. Local
wines are different in both places but both are excellent. Heidelberg
is much more romantic and far cooler in the summer but Córdoba has
its Mezquita, which is unique, whereas in Germany you can see castles
everywhere. You really MUST see this. Regards ...
Laura .

3. If you're working with someone tell each other
the different places you have visited on your recent holidays. Choose
two places and try to work out their similarities and their differences.
Say which one you prefer. Be very careful with the adjectives you choose
and how they are compared.
4. If you're working on your own, write a postcard/letter
to someone you know and compare two places you've been to. Look at the
postcard above. Submit your writing to your teacher/tutor for corrections/suggestions.
