CONCEPT		DEFINITION
Atmospheric pollution		The science that studies the substances which make up the earth, the universe and all living things, their combinations and behaviour under different conditions.
Atom		The study of matter and natural forces.
Biology		The smallest part of a substance that can be separated from the substance without losing its chemical form and qualities. It consists of one or more atoms.
Cell		The study of knowledge which can be made into a system and which usually depends on seeing and testing facts and stating general natural laws.
Chemistry		The study of the materials (rocks, soil, etc.) that make up the earth, and their changes in the history of the world.
Environment		Related to science or its principles or rules.
Geology		The most common liquid.
Laboratory		The scientific study of living things.
Molecule		All the surrounding conditions or natural conditions in which man lives that influence growth and development.
Nature		The smallest piece of a simple substance that has the same qualities and can combine with other substances and form molecules.
Physics		Impure state of the atmosphere that makes it unfit for use.
Science		The whole world in general, especially as something lasting and not changed by people. Also the qualities that make something or somebody different from others.
Scientific		The smallest division of living matter able to act independently.
Water		The room in which a scientist works using apparatus for the examination and testing of materials.
