We propose two very similar and simple on-line activities, one for rocks and one for minerals. Your students are given a website from which they must get all the data to fill in the charts in their worksheets. They have to complete them with information about either rocks or minerals (class, physical properties, uses, where they can be found, chemistry, etc.).

When your students finish, they are asked to visit a new website where they can get some further practice.
