	Waste Water Treatment

This activity can be very useful to illustrate the process of waste water treatment. It has been planned as a treasure hunt using the Worsley School website, where you can also find many other interesting activities to put into practice in your classroom.

Your students must be given a worksheet with some exercises about a text on that website. In order to test their knowledge, they are asked to find the information they need to answer the questions. If they are working on-line, some of these questions offer a game that might be helpful if they get stuck. If you are not working on-line a printable version of the activity is available below. Anyway, bear in mind that even though they are using computers, the answers should be written in their worksheets. It is needless to say that the activity has to be carefully planned before it is done in the classroom.
