TIPS FOR TEACHERS

With this on-line activity, actually a simple treasure hunt, your students will be introduced to some basic notions about rugby. They will learn about its rules, players, etc. They must find all the information they need here and then do some activities in order to test their knowledge. There is a printable worksheet available at the bottom of this page that we recommend since it will be useful for your students to keep a record of the things they are learning.

The activity has been organised in two different parts:

First of all there is a quiz on the basic rules of rugby: they are asked about the length of a game, the terms, the score, etc.

Then, there's a matching game about the players positions that they have to fill in with the correct data. We offer an interactive game to help students answer the exercise.
