Now you know almost everything about notes you are going to learn about another important concept in music: rhythm, the element of time. Almost everything we do has a rhythm: walking, breathing, speaking, etc. So has music and it's probably the most important element! Basically, rhythm is the placement of sound in time (according to The New Encyclopedia Britannica).
