Supplies:

A beautiful pumpkin

A spoon for each child

A candle

Some wire

Before giving the pumpkin to the children, the teacher has to cut the top of the pumpkin. Then let the children carve the pumpkin with the spoons. Then they can draw the face of the Jack-o-lantern with a marker and the teacher can cut the holes.

Pin some wire under the candle and and put it in the pumpkin.

Turn the light off and light the candle.

Here you are a Jack-o-lantern!
