2 tablespoons of soft shortening
4 tablespoons of cornstarch
Food coloring (color of your choice)

Mix together all ingredients and apply with fingers. This will keep for several weeks if refrigerated.

Make-up is not only fun to apply and wear, it's much safer than masks, since it doesn't obstruct your vision.

1. Wash face and dry thoroughly.

2. Wrap a towel around your neck to prevent makeup from getting on costume.

3. Apply a thin coat of cold cream to the entire face. Be careful around the eyes.

4. Using a cotton ball, gently pat cornstarch over the face.

5. Apply makeup!
