Replying to Fractals

A reply from Escola Sadako to an activity from Yunus Emre Primary School

In the aims section of the activity Fractals the relation between fractals and multiplication is mentioned. We believe that this relation can be made much more evident by adding a table and asking the pupils to complete it by finding the multiplication pattern hidden within.

The terms in the top row can be translated by: Colour of noodles, number of crosses, number of noodles, length of noodles.
The terms in the first column can be translated by: step 1, step 2, ...
The colours in the second column are: yellow, red, blue, green and black.
