Town: Castelló de Farfanya

	Comarca:"La Noguera". Inhabitants:five hundred seventy six.  Area:fifty three km2. Town festivals There is a town festival in summer:15th August "Santa Maria ". There is a town festival in spring: 23rd April.There is a town festival in Autumm: 9th November.
	Situation Our village is next to "Farfanya" river. Our village  is near "Os de Balaguer", "Gerb", "Balaguer", " Menarguens" and "Algerri". There are some hills near our town colled "Serra Llarga". We grow cereals, almond trees and olive trees.
	The school Build: in nineteen thirty three. Building:The school is big. There are two floors, five classrooms, three toilets and one head teacher room. There are twenty three boys and girls. There are three teachers. We have five specialized teachers: the English and French teacher,the religion teacher, the music and computer teacher, the special educacion teacher,and the P.E and art teacher who come some days of the week.
	The Town Hall Building :There are thirteen  windows, three forged iron balconies and Castello's emblem in the façade. This emblem has got three towers. Ther is a "cana"  at the door. A"cana" is a length measure used some years ago in the market. The a historical archives  disappeared in 1936 war. Councillors: six councillors.
	"Sant Miquel" church The church is the second monument in Castelló. It has got one Gothic nave. The vault is pre Romanesque. The apse and the façade's door are Romanesque. There are grapes, hunting pictures  and leaves on the door. The doors are made of walnut wood. They were built in seventeen fifty-one. There is a stone altarpiece on the altar.
	"Major" Square There is the town hall, the church, the surgery,  "Alba" house and the oldest house in the village. We dance,we  celebrate the festival town and the market in the square.
	"Alba" house This house is in Major square.There are four forged iron balconies between them. There is a family emblem. There is a prison on the left side on the ground floor. The prison's door is small and it gas hot a bolt. There is the "Local social" on the first floor.
	"Santa Maria" church  This church is next to the castle.  There is one gothic nave. There is one gothic door and there is and unfinished belfry on the church. We can see all "Pla d'Urgell".
