Report
Now that you have your list, you should be ready to prepare
your report. Your report should be written in the form of a newspaper
article. It should have
- a headline
- a catchy introduction
- the list (from Process 4)
- a justification of the list - the reasons you chose to put products
in the OK or Not OK columns.
- a conclusion - e.g. some recommendations
Here are some expressions you could use in your report:
- Have you ever wondered…?
- Did you know that…?
- Would you… if you knew that…?
- …it takes/costs X hours/dollars/people..
- …to make/grow/manufacture…
- We have investigated…
- We discovered that…
- We were shocked to discover that…
- Below is our list of products/brandnames…
- …that we think you should/shouldn’t…
- The reason we (don’t) recommend X is because…
- In conclusion…
