Part 1: A summer job

 

 Maria and Oscar are students of last year of secondary school and they have decided to go to the USA this summer to learn English and, at the same time, get a job to help with the expenses of the trip.

They have seen an advertisement for counsellors in a summer camp in the Catskill Mountains, 100 miles from New York. Maria telephones and the next week they are called to a job interview.

After two weeks the agency calls again to tell them that they have been accepted and they give them more information about the programme.
