4. From Harlem to Chinatown

In the north of Manhattan, Harlem is the neighbourhood where many black Americans settled after 1918.

It is famous for its jazz music and art deco buildings.

To the west of Harlem we find the Spanish Harlem or el Barrio, with all the colour of Mexican cities

In Chinatown you can see colourful images in the streets, like the celebration of the Chinese New Year

Little Italy, north of Chinatown is still a center for Italian people in New York.

Mulberry Street is full of attractive Italian restaurants.
