THE CIRCUS

It was the place where people celebrated chariot races.
They have rectangular ground plan with the borders in bended shapes.

 A circus is a space diveded by a slope that divided it in two halfs. This slope is called spine.

Gaols were the places where chariots, horses and aurigas waited before to come in to the track.

The cavea was the row where spectators were situated.
