Town: Algerri

	Comarca: La Noguera. Inhabitants: Five hundred and ten. Town festivals: Candelera 2nd February; St Bartomeu 24th August.
	Situation: Algerri is a small village situated in a plain. There are some mountains next to the village, called "Serra Llarga". We have got coaches to go to Lleida, Alfarràs, Almenar and Balaguer. We grow almond trees, grapewines, olives trees, vegetables, corn, lucerne and wheat.
	The School Built: The year nineteen twenty five The building:It has got one floor. There are four classrooms, three toilets and one head teacher's room. There is a big playgrownd with flowers where we can play and practise P.E. We are eighteen children and two teachers.
	The Town Hall  Built:the year nineteen seventy eight. The building:It is a modern building, situated in Major square.It has got two floors. There is the surgery on the ground floor. There is a big meeting room on the first the floor. Councillors:seven.
	The Church Church's name:"Purificació de la Mare de Dèu" Built: seventeen seventy two. Style: The church is Neoclassical but the front of the church is Baroque. There is a mother's good sculpture at the top of the façade. This is the biggest in Catalonia.
	The Major Square There is a big square in the middle of the village and a fountain in the middle of the square. There is the town hall, the retired people building,the church and the surgery near it. We dance, we buy books in Sant George day.There is a market on the square every  month.There are fireworks on the square in the summer town festival.
	Manor house Name: Cal Peret  Built:three hundred years ago.
	The park We can play there. Before it was called " the red square".
