  ACTIVITY 1  
    Before starting to work on this task take your time to read the Film Evaluation Sheet to know exactly what you are expected to do and how you are going to be rated.  
  ACTIVITY 2  
   

Complete Chart 1 with the information provided on the cover of the tape. After watching the film, you will check this information and make the necessary changes.

 
  ACTIVITY 3  
   

Chart 2 contains activities for you to answer before and after watching the film.

Important: do not forget to take down notes while you are watching the film.
 
  ACTIVITY 4  
   

Once you have finished the charts, share your information with the other students in the class and discuss about it.

 
  EVALUATION  
   

Complete the Film Evaluation Sheet and give it to your teacher.

:: Group Discussion

Imagine you are a film critic who takes part in a discussion where there are two parties:

One party wants to nominate the film for the Oscar award, but the other party is very much against it. Argue your case including the aspects above.

:: Writing Activity

Write a report describing the disabled character/s in the film.

You should include:

  • the type of disease
  • the way the disease affects his/her everyday life
  • the actions the disabled person (as well as his/her family, friends, etc.) takes to overcome this problem

:: Searching the Web

Visit the official page of the film and make a poster for your classroom containing photos and very brief but precise information about the film.
