WEBQUESTS GENERAL INFORMATION

The information provided on this page will help you organize and improve the final outcome of your project. So, read it carefully and come to it every time you need it.

How can I organize my work and keep track of my findings?

When you start visiting the websites mentioned in the webquests, bear in mind that:

:: If you print out the pages, you should underline the passages you believe are the most important before keeping them in a folder.

:: You can save sections, graphics and/or pictures you want to use in your presentation by selecting the text, and copying and pasting into the text editor you are using:

:: For graphics, use the right button of the mouse and save.

:: Do not forget to write down or copy/paste and bookmark the pages of the site you take the picture or the passage from so you can quickly go back to it whenever you need to do so.

:: Remember to write a couple of lines about the pages that are of interest to your group, or classify them under an appropriate heading.

:: Make a scrapbook with all your findings:

:: You can store your printed work in a folder or save the electronic format in a network folder, floppy disk or CD-ROM.

:: Remember that you will be sharing the work you store with your classmate/s, so you should take extra care when organizing it.

How can I share my work with my classmates?

Everyone must assume a particular role within the group:

:: The "experts in surfing the net" are in charge of searching the web for information.

:: The "public relations" are in charge of asking people for useful information for the project.

:: The "artists" are in charge of the design and final outcome of the project.

:: If there is more than one group doing the same activity, you should get together and discuss how you will divide the task on an equal basis, reaching an agreement through consensus:
