Your granny is losing eyesight as she gets older, and this is causing her a problem because now she cannot do most of the things she used to do.

One day your granny asks you to go shopping with her. She wants to buy some products specially designed for people with failing sight. These will be helpful for her when she is around the house or when she is out and about.

:: Your granny is mad about crossword puzzles. On your way back home buy her a magazine with puzzles and general knowledge quizzes.

:: Make a poster or a PowerPoint presentation with the results of your shopping.

:: Your presentation should include the following information of every product:

  • name and picture
  • brief description
  • what your granny will use it for

:: You should include a detailed explanation of how you have spent the 150 euros.

:: Your presentation should be conducted in English.

    :: Share your results with the rest of the groups that have gone through the same project and discuss your ideas with them.

    :: Hang your poster in your classroom (providing you have made one, of course).

:: As a group, choose the best three posters and/or PowerPoint presentations. The most outstanding will be shown on the web of the project.
