Surveying Your Interests

The main purpose of the trip is to practise your English, but there will be plenty of time for other kinds of activities too. Before planning your trip you will need to find out what the different members of your group are interested in doing.

Individually, prepare a short questionnaire about travel and holiday activities. For example:

When you travel …

do you like visiting museums?
do you like going to the beach?
do you like …?

Ask the other members of your group your questions. Together, as a group, write a short summary of your group’s interests:

"In our group everyone likes …. when they travel. But only one person likes …. No one likes….. Therefore, when we plan our trip, we should include time for …. and for …."
