Stating Your Purpose

Decide on the exact purpose of your trip. You will need to include this in a letter you will be writing to your parents or school in order to ask permission. You can have more than one purpose, if you like. The more purposes the better!

Begin like this:

"Our class is planning a ten-day trip to an English-speaking country in order to…. and…. In addition, we would like to …."

Work on this task as a group. Keep an individual record of what your group has written, because you will need this later on, when you write your own letter.
